TERMS & CONDITIONS

Gillian’s Jewellery has the right and change these Terms and Conditions continuously and we therefore suggest and advise you to read them thoroughly and regularly.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Gillian’s Jewellery delivers Australia wide. For domestic shipments we use Australia Express Post which offers a next day delivery guarantee.

We offer a flat rate shipping cost for domestic deliveries within Australia which is $15 and includes insurance.

If the purchased item is in stock we will send it out within 1 or 2 business days and you should receive the package within a 3 – 5 business day period of the initial purchase date. If the purchased item is temporarily out of stock or there maybe a delay in the delivery we will notify you asap via email or phone.  

If you are located near our retail store in Blackburn North, Victoria, you will be offered the opportunity to collect your purchase directly from us. This offer will be made during the purchase process.

Before we securely wrap and package all items, we thoroughly examine and check to make sure that the purchased item or item’s are as described on our webpage and in the condition as stated and sold.  

A tracking number will be provided and email to you once the purchased item has been carefully packaged and sent. Items or purchases with a higher value, may require a signature on delivery.

Please note that for Australia Express Post deliveries you must be available to sign for your package at the time of delivery, which will fall between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

Goods require a signature on delivery. Please ensure you nominate a suitable address so you can receive the goods once they arrive. If you nominate a business address, you will need to include the name of the company to ensure the courier can find you easily.

We are unable to redirect goods once the order has been dispatched.

In the event of an unsuccessful delivery, you will receive notification from the courier company and arrangements will be made to finalise delivery. If goods cannot be delivered and go unclaimed, they will be returned to Gillian’s Jewellery. If you require us to dispatch the package for a second time, you will be charged an additional shipping fee and the same guidelines (as above) apply to this new delivery.

Order cut off and delivery time frames are provided as a guide only. We do not take responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances which may cause your delivery to be late. These include strikes, natural disasters and any other reasons beyond our control.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

As we endeavour to ship purchases as soon as possible after an order is received, we will only accept a cancellation by you if we receive written notice of your intention to cancel before the items have been dispatched or made to order. Once your order has been dispatched we are unable to cancel your order and you must then follow our returns procedure and return the goods in new and unused condition to receive a refund for the sale amount.

OUR PRICES

For all merchandise purchased through Gillian’s Jewellery website and in store, prices are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and GST is inclusive by Australian law.

RETURNS ON PURCHASES

With any purchase at Gillian’s Jewellery we deliver your purchase to you in a working and new condition without fault or damage. In the event that you receive your purchase from us damaged or faulty, you are entitled to return your purchase to us in the condition that you received them, however you must notify us of your intention to return any item within 7 days of delivery. You can do this by emailing info@gilliansjewellery.com.au or by calling our store on 03 9877 6616. We will send you an email to confirm the request has been received. The item must be sent back to our store within 14 days of the received date and then be assessed, which may result in a credit note, replacement, or repaired however it will be up to the discretion of Gillian’s Jewellery management.

If you receive the wrong item or an item that does not match the description of what was ordered and you’re not satisfied with the quality, Gillian’s Jewellery will accept items for replacement with the correct item, exchange or credit note if returned in saleable condition, with the original sales receipt, all original packaging, correct and corresponding certificates and valuation and must be returned within 14 days of the received date and we must be notified either via email or phone.  

If you have simply changed your mind about your purchase, we may at our discretion, accept items for exchange or credit note if returned under the same conditions but there is no guarantee or may result in a restocking fee of up to twenty percent of the purchase price. By Law we do not have to except returns if you have simply changed your mind but we would like to assistant and look after our customers to make sure that they are happy and pleased with their purchase.

Costs and liabilities relating to the return shipping of exchange items are at the risk and expense of the customer sending them. If a customer is returning an item to Gillian’s Jewellery and is not received, the responsibility is on the customer to provide appropriate insurance for the item while in transit to us.

EXCHANGE: We will happily exchange your purchase if the item has not been worn, washed or damaged in any way. Items must be returned in their original condition for an exchange to be considered. Items can only be exchanged once, so please choose carefully. We can do in store exchange, or costs and liabilities relating to the return shipping of exchange items are at the risk and expense of the customer sending them.

CREDIT NOTE: We may offer a credit note if you simply change your mind once you have received your purchase. The above conditions apply. The credit note is valid for future online or in store purchases (one year expiry date on our credit notes) and must be redeemed by contacting(email) so your credit can be authorised.

REFUND: Gillian’s Jewellery do not offer refunds unless there is a manufacturing fault or if the item is not fit for purpose. We may offer a refund provided the item has not been worn or damaged in any way. Items must be returned in their original condition with packaging for a refund to be considered. Once the returned goods have been checked over, we will contact you to notify and action.
